Neil Spencer: Owner and sole proprietor

Neil boasts extensive experience in the upholstery industry, stemming from a lifelong background in a family of upholsterers. 

He formerly served in the British Army as a combat infantry soldier with the Royal Welch Fusiliers but was badly wounded by a suicide truck bomb in iraq and medically discharged. He subsequently spent over a decade working at Leisuretrim in Ponthir, a specialist automotive upholstery business founded by his late father in 1990. 

After leaving the upholstery world in 2015, he then spent the next 9 years working as a drayman delivering the beer kegs, but realised where his true passion was and in 2024, he established Hoods and stitches.
